To create your new product profile, you will be required to confirm feature images, description, pricing and variations. Follow these steps:
- Navigate to the product creation job profile
- Collaborate with the supplier on your product design via the drafting tab. You can comment, upload files, request changes and when you're ready, approve the product draft.
- Once you're happy with your product design and have approved the product draft, you can create your product. Click the green "Create Product" button found in the "Chained Seller Product" panel, located to the left of the drafting conversation. This will launch the "Create Product" modal.
- The "Create Product" modal is broken up into 4 sections:
a) Product images and information
Use the existing product images approved via the drafting conversation or upload your own. Then name your product and write a description for it.
b) Product pricing and variations
To maintain your profit margin, you'll be required to set a sell price based on a percentage margin. This is called "dynamic pricing". Dynamic pricing takes into consideration exchange rates and any future price adjustments made by the supplier. This ensures that you will always clear a profit and never be out of pocket.
You can rename, apply margin, remove and set default variations via the "Product variations" panel.
c) Automatic payment relationship
If this is the first product creation with this specific supplier, you will be required to create an "Automatic payment relationship". The Automatic payment relationship will create a unique token associated with your credit card, which can only be charged when an order is received by you. Tokens are stored securely and can be deleted by you if the supplier relationship is made redundant.
d) Done
Your new product profile has now been created. Click on"Edit" to view the product profile settings page or click on "View" to view the product sale page.
