Product import and management

To start selling your new product on Shopify, you will need to import it. Follow these steps:

1. Navigate to the Merchi app in your Shopify dashboard and click on "Products".
   
   
   
   
2. Merchi products which have not yet been imported will show the green "Import" button. Click the green "Import" button to import your Merchi product on Shopify.
   
   
   
   
   
   
3. Once your product has been imported the "Status" will be updated to "Active" and the corresponding Shopify product will be displayed.
   
   

Keep your products in sync with their chained counterpart on Merchi.

If you or your supplier make changes to the product profile on Merchi, the Shopify chained counterpart will be out of sync. To import the latest product changes from Merchi to Shopify, Click the "Sync" button.


If the product has been synced correctly, status will have changed from "Out of sync" to "Active". In the example below you will notice that the product name has also been updated.

Supply Chain disabled

Your product supplier has the ability to disable the supply chain for your product. When this happens, you will be notified by Merchi, the product profile on Shopify will be set to "Draft" and the counterpart product profile on Merchi will be set to private.
